{"id":149,"date":"2022-03-21T16:26:51","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T16:26:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eurospeleoart.eu\/?page_id=149"},"modified":"2022-03-24T09:58:34","modified_gmt":"2022-03-24T09:58:34","slug":"alekseev-alexander-russia","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eurospeleoart.eu\/?page_id=149","title":{"rendered":"Alekseev, Alexander"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Russian Federation<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1976: began to engage in caving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1980: visited a number of caves in Eastern Europe (Czecho-Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1981: visited the caves in France; organized a children&#8217;s department at the Irkutsk City Speleological Section of the Irkutsk Tourist Club &#8220;Sayany&#8221;, which eventually was transformed into the Irkutsk Children&#8217;s Caving Club &#8220;Mechta&#8221; (&#8220;the Dream&#8221;). The main activity of the Club is the popularization of speleology among children and adolescents from 14 to 18 years old and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1983: participated in the filming of a movie for the Irkutsk State Television and Radio Company about the caves of Tofalaria, Eastern Sayan Mountains, Irkutsk province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1985: visited the caves of Kugitang Natural Reserve, Turkmenia, Central Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1997-2010: worked in various geological organizations, participated in a number of scientific conferences, published scientific articles in collaboration with archaeologists, geologists and chiropterologists .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 1993, Alexander annually conducted numerous tours into the Mechta cave, Baikal Lake, Pribaikalsky National Park, Irkutsk province, Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2010, he began to make films about caves of the Irkutsk province devoted to two topics: &#8220;Routes of old excursions and expeditions&#8221; (based on old publications and reports), and geographical features of caves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In April 2021, a youtube channel &#8220;Travel Club&#8221; was registered on which speleo films were uploaded: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC92e_b3GvSpOYYfNm3v1B_w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC92e_b3GvSpOYYfNm3v1B_w<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u0424\u0438\u043b\u044c\u043c \u043e \u043f\u0435\u0449\u0435\u0440\u0435 &quot;\u041c\u0435\u0447\u0442\u0430&quot; - \u0447\u0430\u0441\u0442\u044c 1\" width=\"616\" height=\"347\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EPR9YFHbkM4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption><strong><em>Cave Mechta.
